(4)工作溫度范圍
(5)工作介質的性質

波紋管設計和選型的主要內容是:根據系統給定的已知條件來選擇波紋管的材料,結構刑式、幾何尺寸參數和性能參數。在選型過程中,應當滿足系統對波紋管的使用要求,并力求做到結構先進合理.在有條件的情況下進行優化設計。實踐證明,波紋管的設計選型是非常重要的,如果設計選型不合理,波紋管制造的質量再高也滿足不了使用要求。
 
1.材料選擇
 
根據波紋管的用途,載荷種類和大小,精度要求、工作介質、工作溫度及使用壽命等已知條件,并考慮材料的成形和焊接工藝性。選擇一種合適的材料。材料選擇還要考慮其市場來源。
 
2.確定結構型式
 
(1)選擇波紋形狀
 
根據波紋管的用途、性能、使用要求以及各種波形的性能和制造特點等因素來選擇比較合理的波紋形狀。在一般情況下,多數選擇U 型波紋等。
 
(2)確定波紋管層數
 
根據波紋管的用途、工作壓力、剛度、工作介質等因素確定波紋管的層數。在工作壓力較高的情況下,一般選用多層結構的波紋管,對于多層波紋管需要合理選擇其層數和單層壁厚。
 
(3)初步估定是否要與其它彈性元件聯用
 
有些情況下波紋管與螺旋彈簧并聯使用,這些情況分別是: 為了提高測量精度;工作壓力比較高的場合;有沖擊載荷的情況。
 
(4)選擇波紋管的兩端端部的結構型式
 
選擇波紋管的兩端端部的結構型式,要考慮兩端結構的成形工藝、焊接工藝和整個系統在結構方面的限制。
 
(5)考慮是否需要導向裝置
 
當波紋管有效長度比較長時,為了避免在工作過程中產生柱狀失穩,應考慮增加導向裝置。例如,閥用波紋管一般都設有導向裝置。
 
(6) 考慮是否需用加強環
 
為了適應較高工作壓力的使用要求,波紋管可以用加強環加強,或者采用多層結構,也可以應用這兩種結構的組合。加強環是局部加強,多層結構是整體加強。
 
3.設計計算和選擇波紋管的結構參數
 
波紋管的性能取決于波紋管的結構,波紋管的主要結構參數包括內徑、外徑、壁厚、波距、波厚、波紋數、層數,兩端配合部分尺寸以及有效長度、總長度等。在一般情況下,波紋管的用戶應從有關標準和制造單位的產品樣本中選擇波紋管,而不是設計新產品。這樣能使研制中的問題減到更少,同時還能降低制造成本和縮短制造周期。
 
4.設計計算波紋管的性能參數
 
在波紋管主要結構尺寸參數經過設計計算或選型初步確定之后,再設計計算波紋管的性能參數。如果波紋管性能參數不能滿足技術要求時,應適當修正波紋管的幾何尺寸參數。波紋管的用途不同,其技術要求也不一樣,設計時應當根據不同的要求,制定相應的設計方法。測量用的波紋管通常主要要求的是剛度、強度和彈性性能。雖然不同幾何形狀、尺寸參數的多種波紋管都可以滿足同樣的剛度要求,但是在這些波紋管中產生的應力值卻不一樣。那些既能滿足剛度要求,而且工作時產生的應力小的方案是合理的。應力的減小不僅提高了安全系數,而且也降低了材料彈性對遲滯、后效、疲勞等的影響,從而提高了波紋管的精度和工作可靠性。
